Wow! Can't believe in one month I will be on my way to Red Mountain and beginning my adventure to hike the Grand Canyon! It has been hot and humid here in the DC area. I continue walking outdoors and must admit it hasn't prevented me from going out to play golf. I think of it as getting my body ready for some of the heat I will be facing on the hike! To be honest the heat is the one factor of the hike that seems to be the most daunting! That and the idea of walking with a 25 lb backpack!
I am also excited about using my new single lens reflex digital camera.....I even watched the dvd (thank you Michael) and cannot wait to take pictures! I am looking forward to the beauty and the challenge!
