Retreat FAQ

Wake up every morning, be thankful you're around another day, say your gratitudes, and then shout out loud "I'm ready to practice my Adaptin' and Adjustin' all day long. Bring it on!"

Creative Retreaters

The Peeke Week Retreat experience has been known to spark a muse in many of our retreaters.  Below are some of their creations.

TRANSFORMATION

Transformation is a long word, with a longer promise-

And yet I leave here transformed.

I now hold my own hand, and reach out to others from

A sense of strength, and not fear.

This week I have felt whole.

Whole foods. Whole fitness. Wholly supported, and wholly appreciated for who I am.

I leave here with the knowledge that I am tough enough to take action.

I leave here with the expectation that I will become fit, and a plan to make it happen.

And I leave here secure in the truth-

that other people’s decisions about me are THEIR stories, and not mine.

I came here a little girl, and I leave here a woman,

proud to take up space on this earth.

Yes, transformation is a long word, with a longer promise.

And I am truly grateful to be able to say that this week I have witnessed several of them.

And I am even more grateful to be able to say that one of them was mine.

Thank you all so very much.

Hey let me tell you – ‘bout a doctor named Peeke
She leads a retreat-and it runs about a week

It’s called fit to live - and it’s really a gas

And if you don’t like it – she’ll say “kiss my ass”

Doctor Peeke brought along- a coach named MJ

Through her wisdom and grace- she helped us find our way

Change is the thing- they enlightened us about

And we all got the memo- that we gotta work out

The retreat was a challenge- of the body and the mind

And by a squaring it- we’ll leave our troubles behind

Retreaters’ gone wild- was a cry we often heard

But when Dr. Peeke talked- we hung on every word

The Peeke team’s work- was really out of sight

And when Debbie played her flute- it made our hearts take flight

We’ll treasure what we learned- and the friends that we met

And for the folks at home- they ain’t seen nothin’ yet
